Big Red’s extensive trailer selection allows us to use our Expandable Step Deck and Expandable Double Drop Trailers to transport overhead cranes that were longer than standard trailer dimensions.
We were able to move the cranes from the manufacturing facility to the project site with this solution. On-site we rigged, unloaded, and installed the bridge crane onto its rails. Our Class A CDL drivers are accustomed to the details involved with hauling these Oversized Loads. Pre-planning of routes and the time of day is always considered, along with escorts when they are needed.
