Project Information

Big Red was contacted by the Eisner family to help preserve the Valley View Sculpture Garden in Hales Corners. Using a combination of a rough terrain crane (RO) and a Hyster forklift, the team carefully removed and handled each corten steel sculpture created by William Eisner, ensuring they were protected throughout the process.

Several sculptures were thoughtfully relocated to honor the artist’s legacy. Three twist sculptures were transported and installed at the homes of his grandchildren, while “Introversion” was donated and installed at The Conservancy for Healing and Heritage in Franklin. Another piece, “Living Waters,” was delivered and placed in the outdoor Campground space at Camp PAR in Shorewood for public enjoyment.

The largest sculpture, titled “Encounter,” could not be transported intact, so Big Red meticulously disassembled it, labeling all welds and components for potential future reassembly. In addition, a 5,000-pound rock fountain was carefully removed from a dry riverbed. After initial lifting attempts with straps were unsuccessful, the team utilized a Hyster forklift to safely extract it. The fountain is now staged and awaiting installation at a family property.
